Day 4 – Holiday Outfits – Cocoa Cozy.

Hey, bow friends!

Today I’m bringing you the most I-feel-like-I’m-wearing-pajamas-but-I’m-not outfit of them all.  This is the kind of thing to wear when you’ve got friends coming over to watch movies or play video games and it’s just way too cold to not be in cozy clothes.Comfortable DayI’m obsessed with those fuzzy, mohair sweaters.  I want them all.  I wore this blue polka dot one on the plane to Colorado during Thanksgiving break and beau actually snuggled me the entire way there.  It’s so soft.  Like I want to sleep in it.  Live in it forever.  And the jeans I’m wearing are actually an extremely soft denim that feel like the perfect mix between leggings and skinnies.  I don’t know how they’ve done it, but they are my favorite.  I think they’re still up on the site so I’ll make sure to link them below.  You need them in your life.

When I’m at home, I’m constantly keeping both my body and my lips hydrated.  Two products I’ve been using non-stop are the Born Lippy lip balm and Rose Salve.  I would have never tried the Born Lippy lip balm, but my super sweet buddy Georgina sent one to me in watermelon and my word.  It is so yummy.  Plus it makes my lips feel conditioned and smooth.  The rose salve is something I have been obssessed with for so long.  My roommate introduced me to it and let me use hers for the longest time.  It has such a sweet scent and smooth texture.  I also sneak some of this onto my cuticles to help soften them.  It’s awesome.

I hope you guys love this cozy outfit.  I know, not exactly a holiday shindig look, but I have to be honest to myself.  I spend most of the holidays in the comfiest of clothes.  We’re winding down to the last look!  Can you guys guess what it will be?  I’ll hint to you, it’s probably the classiest I’ve ever looked.

We shall talk soon!

Day 3 – Holiday Outfits – Soot and Sparkle.

SootI’m sorry for the lack of day 3 yesterday.  If you keep up with me on twitter, you would know that my laptop charger quit out on me yesterday.  With a crashing WordPress app, a dead laptop, and a broken charger I had no options.  I did run to the Apple store late last night and sold my soul in order to buy a new charger though.  I mean $80?  Really, Apple?  Anyways, let’s move on to the happy stuff.  The outfit.

Day 2 – Holiday Outfits – All Wrapped Up.

Hey, bow friends!

Day 2 is here!  Today’s outfit is something a little more dressy than yesterday’s look, but still casual.  Still keeping it simple and still wearing a lot of black.  This is perfect for going out to dinner with family or a holiday get together with friends. Day two outfit

FaceI am sporting a velvet bow (The same as my Halloween costume, awkwardly enough.) to help me fake short hair.  It takes seconds to throw your hair up like this in an elastic headband and if you’d like an idea of how, have a peek here.

I was super excited to borrow Ruby Woo from my mom and for the first time ever, I felt like I could actually pull it off.  I’ve been afraid of it for a long time, but it’s a gorgeous shade. When it comes to the outfit, of course, if it’s cooler where you are, maybe opt for some sweater tights or boots and a nice, thick coat.  I am in love with the bow pattern of these shorts.  It’s not too much and actually comes off looking like polka dots.  What would you add to this look?  What other lip color do you think would pair nicely?  Do let me know!

How are you guys doing?  It’s getting really chilly here actually and I’m enjoying it so much.  So many cat cuddles and cups of hot chocolate are being enjoyed in my house.  Are you ready for day three?!

We shall talk soon!
