Some months, I don’t get to blog as much as I want to. Even if I’m not writing blog posts or posting on social media, my brain is always in blogger mode. I’m constantly looking for new things to try and review. There were a bunch of products I didn’t get to review this month (But I did review drugstore highlighters under $5 and lip glosses for people who hate lip gloss!) that I still wanted to give some love and attention to, so I thought I’d give you a break down of what worked, what didn’t, and what was just okay.
Nothing makes me happier than finding something at a low price that’s amazing quality. When I look at my makeup collection, I find that most of my favorite products are actually from the drugstore. The drugstore these days is more expensive than ever before and I honestly can’t be bothered to spend $15 on a product from from the drugstore that’s average when I can get amazing products for $10 or less.
Cream shadow is my staple for an easy, morning makeup routine. You can sweep it on with your fingers or a brush in 1 2 3 and have a put together and complete eye look just like that. If you’ve been here for a while, you’ll know that the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Creamy Beige is my everyday go to. Seriously, I’m addicted to the stuff. It’s the perfect neutral shade that covers any redness or veins on my lids while adding a little color. The one downside? I don’t think they make it anymore and I’m getting close to finishing it. When I spied the Revlon ColorStay Creme Eye Shadow display at my local Walgreens, I crossed my fingers and picked up a couple shades in hopes that I could find something I loved even more than Creamy Beige.
