I was recently looking for plus size outfit inspo on Pinterest and couldn’t find much. Yeah, there are some more popular plus size people on there, for sure, but I couldn’t relate to their body types. Although I admired their personal style, it was very different to mine. I feel like there should be more representation of plus size women online. There’s definitely more now than ever before, but I want to help fill the gaps within the plus size blogging community by being another representation of a different body type.
This was kind of hard for me to post. If you’ve been around these parts for a bit, you know I have PCOS, a syndrome that causes a hormone imbalance. PCOS can cause obesity and makes it hard to lose weight. Recently, I’ve been ballooning in weight quite quickly. It’s been knocking my confidence down a peg in a major way. I’m getting more active and eating better to try to take care of myself, but in the mean time I need to accept myself more and love who I am where I am. This video is kind of a part of that journey.
Hi there bow friends,
If you’ve been here for a while, you’ll know I love doing styling posts, but don’t do them too often. I was trying to think of creative ways to get back into them when the sleep experts at Casper inspired me to share my own sleepy time version of an Outfit of The Night. I think sharing sleepwear isn’t something we normally do because it’s a little more private, but I’m pretty comfortable with you all. Today I’m going to show you my jammy jams. PS No shame. My sleepwear choices definitely come from the juniors department.
