I have resisted the allure of Glossier for a long time. I even turned down an opportunity to work with them once a few years ago (Yeah, I’m kicking myself a little bit.). The light and dewy makeup look wasn’t my thing and I wasn’t sure the ultra-hydrating skincare would be right for my oily skin. Then they released Wowder.
I literally wrote the release date in my planner and was ready to order it as soon as I shot out of bed in the morning. And I did! I got my butt out of bed and added the Wowder in Light/Medium to my cart. But then I looked in the right hand corner and was alerted by a small rainbow that I would get free shipping if I bought 2 or more items. So I added the Generation G in Zip and the Boy Brow in Black to my cart. I couldn’t let the Wowder get lonely in there, okay?!
If you give in to Glossier the same way I did during this post, you can get 10% off your order with this link.
Some months, I don’t get to blog as much as I want to. Even if I’m not writing blog posts or posting on social media, my brain is always in blogger mode. I’m constantly looking for new things to try and review. There were a bunch of products I didn’t get to review this month (But I did review drugstore highlighters under $5 and lip glosses for people who hate lip gloss!) that I still wanted to give some love and attention to, so I thought I’d give you a break down of what worked, what didn’t, and what was just okay.
Nothing makes me happier than finding something at a low price that’s amazing quality. When I look at my makeup collection, I find that most of my favorite products are actually from the drugstore. The drugstore these days is more expensive than ever before and I honestly can’t be bothered to spend $15 on a product from from the drugstore that’s average when I can get amazing products for $10 or less.
