November Favorites 2016

I have been a busy bee. November was good to me, but oh man, I was busy. I worked a lot (which I’m incredibly thankful for), I spent a lot of time with B, and made new friends. Despite the stress, I’m feeling great and I’m ready for an awesome December, but you know what time it is. It’s time to talk about my November Favorites.

I used to use the MAC ProLongwear Concealer in college and was completely obsessed with it. It gives a perfected and natural finish to the skin, but is incredibly lightweight. I stopped using it after the bottle shattered on my tile floor (RIP), but I definitely missed it. I missed it a lot. It looks amazing on its own without foundation for light days and builds gorgeous coverage on full makeup days. I use it under my eyes and on blemishes or discoloration.

I’ve had the Rimmel Kate Moss Sculpting Kit in Golden Bronze since the beginning of 2016 and I have been using it non-stop. There’s something so convenient about having the perfect bronzer, blush, and highlighter in one place. I don’t have to shuffle through my makeup drawers in the morning when I’m running late to find the blush or bronzer I want. The bronzer in the kit is a little warmer than I’d normally use for contour, but once blended, it looks perfect. The blush is like a less shimmery version of Nars Orgasm which looks incredibly natural and healthy on the cheeks. The highlighter is a similar shade to thebalm Mary-Lou Manizer, but is softer and less in your face.

I took a break from my CoverGirl SuperSizer Waterproof Mascara and I don’t know what I was thinking. It’s just the best. I had lack luster lashes for 2 months before I pulled out a fresh tube of SuperSizer and it blew my mind yet again. It makes my lashes full, volumized, and lengthened. Plus, it never smudges or flakes.

PS! My delightful friend Merisa of Magnolia Moon and I are doing Instamas this December! We’ll be posting to our Instagrams everyday for 25 days with the hashtag #🌙🎀🎄. That’s right, an emoji hashtag (crescent moon, bow, christmas tree).
