March Favorites.

Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in Dark Brown; Anastasia Propencil in Base 1; Head & Shoulders 2 in 1 Dry Scalp Care; Animal Crossing Wild World.

I spent most of March spending time with B and working on myself. We’ve been going on adventures, trying lots of new foods, and watching a ton of Star Trek. Instead of buying new things this month, I shopped my makeup stash and pulled out a couple of much loved products that have rocked my world yet again.

I’ve been having a bit of a brow battle recently. I’ve been losing some hair again and I noticed after the last time I got my brows done, they’re not growing back as full as they used to. I have to do some extra work to give them shape and fullness. The Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in Dark Brown has been my product of choice for getting my brows back to looking like my brows. You can see it in action in this video.

I love a good multi-tasker and the Anastasia ProPencil in Base 1 might be my favorite. It is a gorgeous brow highlight, brightens and lasts all day in the waterline, and works as a great eye shadow base in a pinch. It’s marketed as an eye shadow primer and color corrector and does well in both roles.

B was looking for a new shampoo at the beginning of the month and after staring at bottle after bottle in the haircare aisle, we settled on the Head & Shoulders 2 in 1 Dry Scalp Care. Not going to lie, I’ve been using it religiously (sorry, not sorry, B). It cleanses and hydrates my hair and scalp without weighing my thinning hair down. It doesn’t give enough hydration to my ends so I follow up with a heavier conditioner, but I love what it does for my scalp. Oh, and it smells incredible.

Animal Crossing has been my favorite video game since 2001 and I’ve been a bit obsessed with all the newer versions of the game that have been coming out since. There’s something about Wild World that makes me so happy. I can play without getting sucked in and killing hours upon hours. I love to play whenever I feel anxious because it really relaxes me. It’s a nice way to destress that doesn’t require endless scrolling.

I haven’t played the newer version of animal crossing but I’m so guilty of playing the older version non stop lol.. it just gets to the point of being so addicting you just cant stop playing ! I’m definitely gonna look into the new one:) I’ve also had my eye on that abh pencil .. I love multi tasking products!

There’s been a couple new ones since Wild World too, so it’s not too new, but it’s my favorite our of the bunch. It’s just as fun, but because it’s on the DS it feels a little more convenient.

Animal crossing is my favorite video game ever! ♡ I don’t have time to play anymore, but each ad on the TV reminds me how much I love this game 🙂 (Sorry if there are mistakes in this comment, I’m french😘)

You are fabulous! Love your insights. Anastasia is great…and expensive…and it lasts for …a year. Some of us also use a $5.00 Maybelline Brow Powder. It was off the market for awhile – it’s back! xoxo

Hi Tara Joy. Good post. I have heard good things about Antasia brow products. I thought this link might help with your thinning or falling out hair. My Baba had very thin hair about 10-years ago and we bought her the Nioxine brand shampoo. In a few months her hair was a ton thicker I don’t know if you have something like a Winners or a Marshalls maybe that carries left over shampoos from other stores that are maybe old or didn’t sell in a cosmetics section? Often, I find bottles of Nioxine/Shampoo or conditioner there for $16 Canadian. But u should be able to find it at some hair salon in the US. Here is the link about their products or order it online somewhere: http://www.nioxin.com/en-EN/it-works/the-proof.
