Happy New Year, blog buddies. I thought today would be the day to address some changes you’ll see from B&B and I in 2016. 2015 was a year of heavy positives and heavy negatives. I graduated from college and B and I moved into our first apartment together. I was diagnosed with PCOS. We traveled back to my childhood home in New York and to Colorado to be with B’s family. B&B was featured on a Revlon in-store display and hit 200 posts. It was a good year, but I’m ready for 2016.
As far as B&B goes, there are quite a bit of changes coming your way. First thing you may notice is that Beaus and Bows has a bit of a new look. After over 3 years with the same look, I thought it was time for a refresh. We’re still playing around with colors and organization, but welcome to the new B&B layout. Let me know what you think. There’s something big being considered in the realm of running ads on B&B.I know ads can be a bit of a controversial thing and I want to introduce the idea to you now just in case they are introduced to B&B in the coming months.
I’ve switched up my hair last month and I think I’m keeping the style for the beginning of 2016. I had a bit of a battle with my hair in 2015 and I wanted a fresh start. A chop felt like the only way to go and I’m quite pleased with it. Don’t be shocked, I still have my bangs, but more often than not they get swept to the side.In 2016, I’ll be further embracing my body and working on me so expect some more health and body positive posts to come. With them will hopefully be some more fashion focused posts as I loved writing them in 2015. The biggest change of 2016 will be a temporary move to Virginia with B, but more on that later.
Let’s take care of the last bit of bloggy business from 2015. I want to take the time to announce my Revlon giveaway winner.
Congrats to Amy L.! Keep your eye for an email from me so I can send you your goodies!
I hope you all had a wonderful and safe New Years and I wish you all the best in 2016.
