Hey there bow friends!

As I’ve mentioned before, B and I moved in together this summer!  Between the two of us, we have a lot of furniture, decor, and household items, but there are still a few things here and there that are missing.  I’ve been scouring the internet for some unique home items and I think I found some real gems at ModCloth.  Some of my favorites are just as much practical as they are cute.

Beat of My Bark Mug

When I moved into my first apartment, I made a rule that my mug collection would be almost exclusively black and white.  I am happy to say that I have stuck to that rule, but I think it’s only fair to admit my collection is growing a little faster than I had planned.  I think it could allow for one more though.  The Beat of My Bark Mug fits the black and white criteria and the adorable tree really reminds me of The Giving Tree, one of my childhood favorites.

Analog Your Hours Clock
Our apartment complex allows us to use nails to hang things up so I’m pretty keen on dressing up our walls.  One of the most practical ways to add a little something something to some wall space is by hanging an eye catching clock.  I think the Analog Your Hours Clock would be perfect the perfect fit.  Not only will it add a punch of color to our completely neutral kitchen area, but it will also remind B of when he’s running late.

Trunks Full of Taste Shaker Set
I love household items with their own personalities.  Anything that’s cute or quirky has a place in our place (especially if it serves a purpose).   The Trunks Full of Taste Shaker Set are adorable and functional.  Plus, I’m crazy about elephants.

I’m going to continue sharing our apartment decorating journey and hopefully soon we can do a little apartment tour.  If you have any suggestions on shops to buy unique and reasonably priced decor, please let me know!  Right now we’re on the look out for geometric printed rugs and essentially anything mid-century modern.

We shall talk soon!

Elephants are my absolute favorite animal so I’m a little in love with the shakers! I didn’t know they were good luck. That’s just another incentive into buying them (:
