Hey there bow friends, You guys seemed to really enjoy my Face Full of NYX post and I thought it was a really fun way to review a bunch of products for you all at once. Today we will be delving into some Maybelline products and you can see how they look on too!
A majority of the products in this little round up are all eye products so I figured that’s a great place to start. I used the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Creamy Beige as a base to act as a primer and cancel out any veins or redness. It’s probably one of my favorite eye products besides the Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze. They both look great on their own and are the perfect foundation to any eye look. To add some definition and an inner corner highlight I used the Maybelline The Nudes Palette. There’s a pretty decent array of shades in the palette, but it’s not my favorite. The darker matte shades have the best pigmentation of the bunch so I used that in my outer corner. To tie the eye look together I used what might be my new favorite liner of all time, the Maybelline Line Stiletto Liquid Liner. I thought the bendy nib wouldn’t allow for a thin, precise line, but I was so wrong. I’ve never been able to do my eyeliner faster or with fewer mistakes in my entire makeup life. This liner is all that. To give my lashes a little something something, a added a few coats of the Maybelline The Colossal Volum’ Express Mascara. It really builds up the volume and length of my lashes without making them spidery.
Time to conceal! I’ve recently fallen in love with the Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin Concealer. It works really well under the eyes and on blemishes. It blends seamlessly to a skin like finish and offers some fantastic coverage. I’m all about it. To set foundation and concealer I dusted on some of the Maybelline Fit Me! Mattifying powder. I’ve done a full, in depth review of this powder and the matching foundation a few months ago, so you might know it’s not my favorite, but it’s alright for short wear times. To finish off the look I swiped on some of the Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids Lipstick in Brazen Berry, an old favorite.
I hope you guys enjoyed these quick mini reviews. I think they’re fun and informative so I’ll keep doing them whenever I can. Are there any brands you’re interested in specifically? Let me know and they’ll be the next focus for a “Face Full of..” post.
We shall talk soon!
