Hey there bow friends!

Last year I did a round-up of all my favorite fall/winter lipsticks and you all seemed to love it.  I thought I’d show you some new picks that are all drugstore.  Yup.  You read that right.  Absolutely all of them.  They are all also new to me this season and I few are actually new to the store as well.  Fall/winter lips are my favorite because dark shades work day or night.  Enough jibber jabber. Let’s get into it.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Copenhagen

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Copenhagen – $6.00 The soft matte lip cream formula is one of my favorites out there.  I’m a huge fan of the brighter, pinkier shades, but this color particularly rocks my world.  The tube would suggest a rich, oxblood shade, but I find it’s a bit more cranberry and less opaque than I originally thought.  Even still, the color is beautiful and leaves a light stain.  I could see this moody fall shade looking fantastic on any skin tone.

Revlon Ultra HD Lipstick in Dahlia

Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquer in Carnelian – $9.99  This is a new product from Revlon that I wasn’t expecting to enjoy at all.  I’m not a big gloss girl and although marketed as a liquid lipstick,  I do think this one wears as a very comfortable gloss.  The color is extremely opaque and this beautiful, fall appropriate shade in particular comes off as a shiny ruby, which is perfect for the holiday season (Yeah, I just said holiday season.  Too soon?).  I find if I blot it leaves a beautiful berry stain that wears comfortably and it doesn’t make a sticky mess.

Jordana Twist and Shine in Honey Love

Jordana Twist & Shine Balm Stain in Honey Love – $1.99 This my-lips-but-better shade is my go to neutral for this time of year.  It comes off as a flattering , dusty pink shade that matches any eye look.  Unlike brighter pinks I’d wear in spring and summer, the mauvey tone makes it a perfect fall/winter shade.  Plus, the twist & shine formulas are creamy, wear well, and leave a nice stain.NYX Simply Vamp Lip Cream in Temptress

NYX Simply Vamp Lip Cream in Temptress – $6.49 If you’ve been here for a while, you’ll know I love a good purple lip.  This shade in particular is so easy to work with because of its berry undertones.  The color can be built up with a few more swipes of the product.  I’m not sure why it’s called a lip cream if it’s in jumbo pencil/crayon format, but the formula and wear is fantastic nonetheless.  Having a dark, vampy lip that’s easy to wear is the best of both worlds.

Revlon Ultra HD Lipstick in Carnelian

Revlon Ultra HD Lipstick in Dahlia – $9.99 This gorgeous new formula from Revlon packs a powerful punch of color.  This shade is completely unique to my collection.  It is almost like a rusty, burnt orange-red if that makes sense.  It reminds me of falling leaves, pumpkins, and all things earthy.  The formula is comfortable to wear and it seems to almost perfect lip texture.  It’s a miracle worker.  On the other hand, it’s an easy smudger so be sure to check for lipstick on your teeth.

What do you guys think?  Which one is your favorite?  Do you have any of these or plan on picking any up?  I’m crazy into trying all sorts of shades this season (you might even see a navy lip in the weeks to come) and am open to experimenting with different finishes and colors.

We shall talk soon!
