Day 5 – Holiday Outfits – The Grand Finale.

Full dress

So like I mentioned the other day, today is the classiest I think I’ve ever looked.  I don’t get too dressed up for New Years usually as I usually spend New Years Eve running around downtown with beau in the 14 degree weather.  Not exactly the best time to pull out your stilettos.

This dress was from a special Catherine Malandrino collection at Kohls.  The whole collection was stunning, but I was under the impression it wouldn’t work out for me.  I’m not the tiniest girl ever and I usually can’t fit into stuff like this.  In fact, I’m a bit chubby and that’s okay.  I found this dress amongst the racks and thought what’s the worst that could happen?  Maybe I get stuck in it, but still.  Well, ladies and gentlemen, it’s a winner.  It fits me so comfortably and it makes me feel really beautiful.  I think that’s what’s important.  I’m still really unsure of what shoes to wear with this even still, but for the sake of the photo, I threw on some t-straps.  I think this dress is perfect for a New Years festivity or fancy Christmas party.  It’s a stitched lace pattern and I think black lace is perfect for anything a little more formal.Close upDress/L’oreal Colour Riche Balm in Nourishing Nude

I had so much fun doing these outfit posts.  I really do need to incorporate more of these into rotation because you all seem to enjoy them too!  I’ve had so much fun talking to you all.  I hope you all are having a great holiday season and that you all are enjoying your time off and your family.  Remember this is a great time to make someone in your life feel really special.  Giving and sharing is one of the nicest things you can do.

We shall talk soon!

Aww! Thank you (: You have to be honest about stuff. It’s cool to be curvy and proud, but I think it’s just more important to be okay with yourself and honest about it.
