MAC Fall/Winter Picks.

Hey there, bow friends!

How are you guys?!  It feels like it’s been forever.  Fo-evah.  Come back to me.  Anyways, are you ready for a photo heavy post?

I really liked my last post on Clinique products and thought I’d do another for some MAC products I have.  A couple of weeks ago, I was having a really hard day and Mother bow dragged me along to the mall.  I think she knows if there’s one thing to cheer me up it would be a look into MAC.  I love makeup counters.  Honestly, I run to every one in the department store like a kid in a candy store.  Anyways, I immediately noticed two little stands – the MAC Retro Matte Lipstick collection and the MAC Indulge Eye and Cheek collection.  I got something from each of them.  I couldn’t help myself.  I’m greedy like that.  I want it all.

MAC Glamour Feast Cremeblend Blush – As soon as we approached the counter, my mom picked up this blush and said, “You need this.”  Who could argue with that?  I don’t have a MAC blush in my collection and I definitely don’t have any shades like this as I tend to stay in the pinky peach zone.  I was extra excited about the color since I’ve just recently dyed my hair a darker brown with an all over burgundy tint (Meaning in the light my hair goes red.  It’s pretty cool. More on that another day.) and I thought it would pull my look together.  The color is a deep, burgundy/maroon shade and is extremely pigmented.  I applied this with my fingers and immediately got nervous at how dark it was.  It sheered out extremely well and had a lasting power of about 6 hours.  I’d say that’s pretty good for not being set with powder.  Plus, that’s 6 hours of running around downtown and popping in and out of pubs.  Oh, to be young.

MAC Retro Matte Lipstick in Fixed on Drama – The colors in the collection were absolutely gorgeous.  I’m a huge sucker for a dark lipstick during the autumn/winter time and couldn’t resist going for something dark and bold.  Fixed on Drama is a cool toned, deep burgundy shade that matches perfectly with the Glamour Feast.  It leaves a slight stain, but it fades evenly.  You might have noticed that I love matte lipstick.  I mean, yes of course, they are extremely drying, but there’s nothing some gloss or balm can’t fix.  I will say that without the balm, it looks much deeper, plummier, and darker.  I’d wear it either way.   For whatever reason this one smells of vanilla more than any of my other MAC lipsticks.  It’s kind of overwhelming.  I love the shade so much I think I’m going to buy another one.  It’s such a flattering color (one of those that makes your teeth look supah white) and I can see myself wearing it a ton in the months to come.  It’s a bit vampy.  I’m into it.

Fixed On Drama Application Full face - MAC Glamour Feast and Fixed On DramaAnd that is that!  Have you had a peek at the MAC collections?  I admit, I don’t stalk them or wait around for new releases, but I do get excited when I find something I love.

Fall break is coming up and I couldn’t be more excited.  Does it feel like fall where you are?  I’m jealous.  I hope you all are doing well!  We shall talk soon.
