Hello there, bow friends!
How are you all? Good I hope. I’m sorry this favorites post is a little late, I’ve just taken my final about an hour ago and this post is a great way to help me relax out of my stressy school state. I’ve had a busy month filled with new products that I’m excited to share with you!
Revlon Lip Butters in Wild Watermelon and Tutti Frutti – This wouldn’t be the first time I have mentioned this lovely lippies. Wild watermelon and tutti frutti are both shades I’m loving for summer for a little subtle pop of color.
Victoria’s Secret Face Prime Makeup Primer and Setting Spray – This is a weird pick. I think it may actually be discontinued, but I have found it on ebay and amazon. I picked this up in a Victoria’s Secret sale for $2 and couldn’t pass it up. I didn’t think I’d like it, but it works as a fantastic primer and an even better setting spray. I’ve tried the Urban Decay De Slick and the elf setting spray and I love this VS one the most. It keeps the oil at bay and helps my makeup last for hours.
Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette – This palette hasn’t been featured on here before, but I have had it since last semester. It was a treat for good grades. Awesome treat huh? It’s such a convenient palette to travel with and I love the matte shades. My favorites are currently W.O.S., Naked 2, and Faint. Looking for swatches? Check out these posts by some other great bloggers here and here.
Essie Polish in e-nuf is e-nuf – I have been trying to find the perfect summer red for ages and oh man, did I find it. This newer Essie formula is super long lasting. It went 5 days without any chips. The color is a nice corally pink, red shade that is really flattering with a tan.
Origin’s Zero Oil Cleanser – This was a purchase I was convinced I needed by the lovely Kate of gh0stparties. Upon her recommendation in this video, I use it with my clarisonic a few times a week and my skin is completely transformed. It isn’t as oily anymore and my pores seem to be cleaner if that makes sense. The smell was initially off putting, but now I’m kind of digging it.
The Body Shop Shea Body Butter – I’ve used two body butters from The Body Shop in the last year (The papaya one smells so fruity and the almond one smells just like marzipan!) and for summer I needed one that was just as hydrating, but a little less greasy. The shea butter one is perfect for summer. It’s cooling, nourishing, and doesn’t ever feel like it’s melting off onto my car seats while I’m driving.
And those are my top picks for June! I’ve also got something cool to share with you! I’ve just been a part of an interview with Eve’s Addiction, an online sterling silver jewelry store. It was a lot of fun to so and I’d love it if you guys took a look!
We shall talk soon! Have a happy 4th of July weekend and be safe.
