NOTD: Hands of A Royal.

Hey there, bow friends!  I hope you’re having a great day!

I was looking through my nail polish bin and remembered a polish combination that I absolutely love!

The dynamic duo is Essie’s No More Film beneath Catrice’s Genius in the Bottle.  No More Film is part of the 2012 Resort Collection.  It’s deep, blue-purple creme polish.  It looks lighter and more purple in the bottle than it comes out on the nail, but I absolutely adore it.  It’s such a rich shade and only takes 1-2 coats to go opaque.  Here I’ve used two, but you can definitely get away with just one.

I used a damp make up wedge sponge and sponged Catrice 840 Genius In The Bottle polish over top of my base color.  This color is absolutely  ~*~*~*magical*~*~*~ – really.  It’s gold, duochrome polish that has underlying greens, reds, blues, and grays depending on the light.  It looks tons similar to Chanel Peridot polish and I’m very inclined to say it’s a great dupe for it except that it’s a little warmer.  I don’t personally own Peridot, but here’s a great blog post comparing it to a few different polishes and here’s a video review too!

I love deep colors for the fall and I also love a little bit of shimmer.  This has to be one of my new favorites!

Have a great rest of the week, bow friends! We shall talk soon!
