My mom and I popped into Target and I got..a little carried away! Stick around toward the end of the post for an exciting surprise!
Ecotools 5 Piece Face Brush set – $5.00 (on sale) I have a secret love for Ecotools. My first set of brushes were from their collection. So this little nifty one are all short handle brushes and came with a lovely little zip pouch. I slipped my Rimmel Stay Matte powder and the small kabuki brush in there for when my face gets oily late in the day.
E.l.f. Tinted Moisturizer in beige – $3.00 I love E.l.f. products. It’s true. So while perusing around the aisles I found this. The packaging got me interested immediately. It said something like “Perfect color for someone with tan skin and a yellow undertone.” All I could think was..”Hey! That’s me!” I wore it today since I was in a rush and it was quite nice. We shall see!
Tresemme Thermal Protecting Spray – $3.97 (with a coupon) Man oh man did I need a heat protectant. My bangs were getting crispy. I hope this does the job! What do you know about it?
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in 001 Transparent – $3.00 I’ve never owned translucent powder, always one with a little color. I was worried this would leave a white cast, but it did not! I’m super pleased about it and stuck it in my handbag immediately.
Revlon Colorstay Whipped Creme Makeup in 330 True Beige – $8.00 with a coupon (originally $11.99) I adore this and I’ve only used this once so far, but I have a feeling it’ll be a new favorite. I liked my Revlon Photoready Airbrush foundation, but more like a 3/5 stars kinda deal. Consider this one a 4.7/5! I’ll be doing a review on this after about a week of use to let you know!
Revlon Nail Long Wearing Nail Enamel in 230 Popular – $3.99 Oh this color. It’s a slightly murky purple/pastel pink with fine shimmer and a few pieces of chunky glitter. I’m in love with it. Expect a NOTD!
Revlon Nail Enamel in 060 Cafe Pink – $4.99 I’ve been on the hunt for a light yet nicely colored pastel pink polish and boy did I find it. I absolutely love this color.
Up & Up pencil sharpener – $1.17 (I think) I needed something to fix my dull liner problem and here was the cheap solution.
Revlon Nail File – I didn’t necessarily need a nail file, but I had a coupon to buy on Revlon tool get $3.00 off of a Revlon product. I was quite lucky!
N°7 Radiance Revealed Exfoliator – I am obsessed with UK beauty brands and when they started bring them to Target I went crazy. I needed an exfoliator and decided to give it a go. I’ve used this once and will say my skin felt so clean and glowy.
Aveeno Clear Complexion Daily Moisturizer – $14.99 I had been on the hunt for a non-greasy moisturizer. May I just say I don’t always believe them when they say “oil free.” I tried it a few days ago for the first time…let’s just say beau has some competition. I’m in love. It’s really amazing and sits well under my primer. It isn’t at all greasy and feels like I haven’t put anything on. So light and lovely. The only reason I even bought it was because a very fashionable girl recommended it to me (sort of).
That fashionable girl is Chelsea of How I Dwell Now. You’ll get to see some of Chelsea’s travel essentials in a very special and lovely post being featured here tomorrow on what I’d like to call “Feature Fridays.” Expect to see more from Chelsea in the future!
